Does Pocket Tunes support MP3 Pro files?
Article applies to both the Palm and Windows Mobile operating systems Pocket Tunes will play MP3PRO format files, but it does not take advantage of the “PRO” portion of the data. We currently don’t have any plans to add support for this, since there is a significant licensing fee to license the MP3PRO patent, and we can’t justify this based on the number of people interested in MP3PRO. For Palm users, you may want to look at the Ogg Vorbis format, which Pocket Tunes for the Palm OS will play. It has better compression than MP3 at a higher quality.
