Does plastic silverware leech?

All plastic leeches some chemicals back into the environment. However, since plastic water bottles are made of a cheaper plastic (one that is easier to break down), plastic silverware probably takes a longer time to do so. The problem with re-using water bottles is that they ware down, where-as plastic silverware wouldn’t do this is the same amount of time. The best suggestion- for you and the environment- is to avoid these plastic products altogether. Aluminum water bottles are reusable and don’t leech any chemicals. Also try to avoid plastic utensils when possible!!!
