Does Plantlife try to reintroduce plants that have become extinct?
Plantlife only reintroduces plants as a last resort: our primary aim is to maintain native populations in the habitats that they have been long recorded in. If we do undertake a reintroduction, we follow the stringent criteria on reintroductions and translocations laid down by IUCN – The World Conservation Union.
