Does Plantlife conserve habitats as well as species?

0

Yes. Whilst our Back from the Brink programme has a species focus, conserving these would be impossible without also conserving their habitats. When considering how to conserve our nature reserves, for example, we take into account not only the needs of unusual plants and animals present but also the wider habitat. Furthermore, rare plants often occupy rare habitats which can support whole communities of uncommon species e.g. in traditionally managed arable fields, so we can achieve both species and habitat conservation at the same time.
