Does placing in the top two at the World Youth Trial automatically guarantee selection to the World Youth Team?
No. The selection procedures state that up to 40 athletes will be selected to field a partial team to the 2011 World Youth Championships. An athlete who is one of the two highest placing finishers in there event will be considered for selection if they meet all the provisions of the Selection Procedures.
