Does piracy affect software devs?
A bit off topic here, I am greatly surprised that this has been a civil argument thus far, it seems like an argument between two friends at a coffee table, just a couple of people stating their opinions and other people defending what they think and/or opposing the other opinions (that probably came out totally wrong and is very confusing, but I have been awake for… 39 hours-ish and don’t really feel like trying to make a lot of sense) but, back on piracy: I am almost entirely neutral in this subject, I have some pirated games and programming software on my computer, but I just got my first job last week and have never had enough money to pay for anything besides those after-christmas day. I try to buy legit software but, being 16, there is just some software I just *can’t* get, either MSStudio, which is WAY out of my price range, or other software that just so happens to be solely on the internet and I don’t have a credit card.
