Does Piggy Bank World have an environmental or global impact stance?
At Piggy Bank World we care about the daily impact our company makes on the environment. We recycle as much as our local county allows – this includes all shredded paper as well as all cardboard that we can no longer re-use, our printer and fax ink cartridges, and any other materials we use that can be recycled. We also re-use as many packing peanuts as we can by collecting them from local area gift shops. Any packing peanuts that we must purchase are always biodegradable, water soluble, and compostable. Your package may arrive with a mix of different types of packing peanuts, and we encourage our customers to re-use them again. Many packaging and shipping retail stores will gladly re-use your peanuts if you bring them to them. You can also contact The Plastic Loose Fill Council to find a packing peanut drop off location near you. One of our goals for the near future is to make Piggy Bank World 100% carbon neutral. We’ve already started moving in this direction as we presently purchase
