Does Phyllis Schlafly have a point as to why women are unhappy?
We’d have a happier, more productive society if most (not all) of the women had the option to stay in the home and raise the children. My family benefited greatly from my mother’s choice to stay home and raise her children. With a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Development, she felt the early development of her kids was more important to her than heading out into the work force to raise someone else’s kids and consigning her own children to daycare. Most women in today’s society have no choice; they must work to pay the bills. The feminists screwed it up by halving the pay and forcing both parents to work to provide for the family. Day care ends up raising children on MTV and videogames. Hands off child care will never stack up as a viable alternative to true parenting.
Now they can make sperm from stem cells. I agree with Phyllis but I would like to ad one thing. I think women are unhappy because they have been taught that the physical act of sex makes them a victim. Maybe if the ladies enjoyed and had more sex they would be happier. It is just a guess but I think males who suggest this are simply shrugged off and regarded as perverts and abusers. I don’t mind being called the names but I still think I have a point. Women who like sex understand why males are here.
This is something I have been saying for a long time. Thank you Mrs. Schlafly! Womens rights are not BAD but the movement raises unrealistic expectations and make people feel sour when they don’t get everything they want, furthering seflishness and disregard for the equality of all and more for the push of their own “rights.
