This refers to telephone and other device numbers for PDAs, pagers, faxes, TTY, etc. Note: Phone numbers with an area code of ‘000’ and an exchange of ‘199’ are tie lines that can only be accessed from within the MSU campus. Start by dialing ‘199’. Wait for a dial tone. Then dial the last 4 digits in the phone number. To call from off-campus, both the area code and the phone exchange must be changed. For example: A Kellogg Biological Station phone number (000) 199-1234 will become (269) 671-1234 when dialed from off-campus.
