First of all, what are pheromones? In a nutshell, a pheromone is a naturally occurring chemical signal secreted by insects, animals and humans. Upon secretion, it triggers a response from other insects, animals or humans. For example, is an animal senses danger, it will release an alarm or fear pheromone. Other animals in the vicinity will respond to that signal, and they will likely all flee. So, why would humans want to put something like that in perfume?
