PGS does not have a dividend policy and does not pay dividend on a regualr basis. The Board of Directors proposed to pay a special dividend of NOK 10 per share to the shareholders as a result of the excellent financial results achieved by the Company in 2006. In addition, PGS has an authorization to buy back up to 10% of the share capital in the Company.

The Board of Directors has adopted a dividend policy whereby it is the intention to propose to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) a distribution between 25% and 50% of future net income as dividends. it is the intention to implement this policy by introducing a proposal for dividends to the AGM for the first time in 2012.
