Does Petsmart Sell Iguanas?
Most PetSmart locations sell green iguanas. Expect to pay $39.99 – $69.99 for the reptile depending upon your location. Expect to pay $150 – $400+ on a PROPER enclosure for an iguana. They require humidity, tall enclosures and UVA/UVB lighting. You **must** have a proper enclosure prepared BEFORE you purchase the reptile (as with all reptiles). Iguana are vegetarians so your grocery tab won’t be as expensive as other herps. Be prepared to care a reptile that grows to be 4-6 feet in length!! They are climbers, so you need a tall enclosure with plenty of climbing structures. You’ll also need to ensure 60% – 80% humidity and will need to maintain heat between 75F – 110F in temperature gradients.
