In general Pacific Equity Partners does not invest in start up or early stage companies or companies with unproven technology. Our focus is established businesses with strong market positions. ^ top • Does PEP take operational control of the business? Pacific Equity Partners seeks to hold an equity stake in the business that will give us significant influence at the board level. We do not get involved in day to day management of businesses but focus on supporting the management team to ensure that the key business and strategic issues are articulated in a way that will lead to quick, effective decision-making. ^ top • How long will PEP invest in a particular company? While we do not generally go into investments with a fixed view about the exit horizon, typically we invest in our portfolio companies for between 3 and 6 years.
