NO, Patroldog uses an industry standard FTP protocol that can be synchronous, asynchronous or Passive in nature. In addition, non-standard ports can be employed as well. Since PatrolDog is essentially a “one-way” communication standard that originates from inside your firewall, you are assured of complete safety.
