Does patriotism make people value life based on nationality?
I value life based upon a basic level of humanism and I value all life. Just because someone is not ‘one of me’ in no way does it devalue their life. I would suppose that would change if a malicious foreign invader entered my land who was worse that the former regime which oppressed and terrorized my population.
