Does pasteurella kill rabbits?”
Yep, it sure can. Rabbits seem to be very susceptible to pasteurella multocida. Pasteurellosis drains the immune system, and if the rabbit doesnt die from snuffles (pasteurellosis caused by pasteurella multocida), it can die from related or opportunistic infections, such as pneumonia or staph infections. In our opinion, rabbits with any white snot in the nose should always be humanely euthanized.
