Does ozone kill bacteria and/or fungi?

Ozone (O3) is poisonous and can kill some bacteria and fungi as well as cause changes in molecular/chemical structures to eliminate odors caused by these bacteria. Oxygen (O2) in too high of levels itself can be poisonous to even humans and alone will kill certain anaerobic bacteria. Ozone having three oxygen molecules together is unstable and tends to loose one oxygen molecule when it can. (i.e. In a house fire: carbon molecules are released and will get every where in the house, using ozone the extra oxygen molecules will attach to carbon resulting in carbon dioxide (CO2) and no more smoke smell.; In water: Ozone releases extra oxygen molecules so that Hydrogen dioxide (H2O) results in hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).) This causes anything that relies on water, such as bacteria and fungi, to be effected: rubber and plastic can dry out, water exposed long enough becomes hydrogen peroxide, many odorous substances become neutralized and/or it’s causing bacteria/fungi will be sterilized (It can
