Does outpatient drug treatment work?

0

I’ve done outpatient work a few times, though not for drug addiction but psychiatric reasons. There were always people suffering from addictions there, though, and it seemed as if they were thankful for the help. You can set it up to fit your schedule, so it is more intensive than NA but you don’t have to miss any work. If you can’t miss work to go in fulltime, thought need something more than the weekly meetings you should definitely try out an outpatient program. It’s especially helpful if your insurance covers it… if you have insurance they will usually cover a few weeks of it at no cost. If you don’t have insurance that covers it, most outpatient programs have payment plans to help out those in need.
