Does orthoscopic surgery hurt?

It is probably the easiest surgery you can have. I cant talk about shoulder surgery as mine was on my knee. The only pain is when they administer the local. They do give a IV before to make the local not hurt much. The only incisions are two tiny holes, one for the camera and one for the instruments. I was awake the whole time and could look at the monitor and see the inside of my knee. The little holes heal really quick. After I was on crutches for about a week and using a cane for another week. A shoulder may heal quicker as you will not be putting the strain on it as a knee. The only medication I took was Naproxen.
