Does Orkla have a share buyback programme?
Orkla supplements its dividend by moderately buying back treasury shares. At the Annual General Meeting in 2010, the Board of Directors was authorised to buy back Orkla shares. The full text of the authorisation can be found in the Minutes of the AGM 2010. In 2010 no own shares were bought. On average, over the past five years, Orkla has bought back 0.4 % of shares outstanding each year. Per 31 December 2010 Orkla owned 6,945,749 treasury shares.
