Yes. Discoverer can get its metadata from a number of sources including a data dictionary or gateway, or be populated via Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) Common Warehouse Metadata (CWM) bridge. This wizard driven user interface leverages OWB metadata including the star schema, list of values and hierarchies defined in OWB to Discoverer. Furthermore, Discoverer can be used to run reports on OWB’s design time metadata and audit data. OWB comes packaged with a set of Discoverer objects, including workbooks, business areas, and metadata templates.
