Does OpenGVS support helmet mounted displays & trackers?

Support for HMDs and trackers is a hardware and third party product issue. Most HMDs require a specific screen resolution and refresh rate. Most trackers include a serial interface (with software) so you can read the tracker state in realtime. OpenGVS has no restriction on screen resolution or refresh rates. OpenGVS will work with HMDs from nearly any company that makes them. We support stereo within the API by allowing the users to create what we call “multi-channel” application level software. It is easy to do in OpenGVS (we handle all the complex non-oblique frustum-of-vision math required to make the two “eyepoints” overlap properly).
