Obama has sponsored and passed his most significant legislation in the US Senate with republicans – the Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation Act and the Coburn-Obama Transparency in Government Act. Obama. Obama worked with republicans to develop the Comprehensive Immigration Reform that passed the senate with 3 of his amendments. Obama also worked with a republican of bills supporting disabled veterans in healthcare. These are just the examples I know of off the top of my head. Obama definitely has a bipartisan record. The media has worked hard to ignore it.
