Does OAT use e-tickets for air travel?
Yes, when possible. In an effort to improve ticketing processes, many airlines now require the use of electronic tickets (e-tickets), as opposed to paper tickets. Please note that not all airlines offer e-ticketing. Check your Final Document Booklet from Overseas Adventure Travel closely, as you may have only e-tickets, only paper tickets, or a combination of both. You can also view and print your e-tickets by going to My Account / My Reservations / Air Itinerary. If an e-ticket has been issued for you, a tab name E-ticket Receipt will display. If one or more of the airlines featured on your itinerary DOES NOT offer e-ticketing, your final documents packet will contain the necessary paper tickets for your itinerary. At the airport, to pick up your boarding card, simply present whichever form of photo identification is required for your trip at the airport ticket counter — just as you would a paper ticket.
