Does OARS calculate the final course grade?
Pinnacle does not calculate a final course grade. Once grades are submitted (transmitted from Pinnacle to OASIS) the report card system will calculate a final course grade based on relevant data such as previous marking period grades and final exam grade using the mark pattern table. However, it is possible to force a final grade in Pinnacle and override any final grade calculated by the report card system. A school administrator’s approval is required. Edline is updated from Pinnacle, and assignment reports will reflect only the current marking period grade.
