Does Oakland Woods recycle?
The City of Lawrence provides bi-weekly curbside recycling free of charge to residents who pay for regular trash pickup. Please visit the city’s website for more information and to download the schedule. We recommend purchasing a medium to large size garbage container and writing “RECYCLING” along with your address on the top and sides of the container with a white paint marker. Every other Friday, place the recycling container on the opposite side of your driveway as your trash so the writing is clearly visible.
