NYUHome does not provide a shell. If you require a UNIX shell account for research-related purposes, you may apply for a special account which must be sponsored by your faculty advisor. If you are in a class which requires that you have a shell account, your instructor will submit the proper forms. For more information, visit the ITS Accounts site or contact ITS Client Services at 212-998-3035.
