Does nvidia graphic card support in Asus VIA K8M890 chipset?

Where can I get a driver for my VIA chipset to support a widescre…

I just did a quick glance… The ASUS VIA K8M890 has its own BIOS, instead of using AWARD bios like a lot of other motherboards. There is a setting, for instance, for overclock. K8M890 supports PCIe graphics cards x16. So, the nVidia plugs right in. From there, the nVidia driver allows 3D texturing and things like that. For what it is worth, I have the ASUS M2MPV, AMD Athlon 64, nVidia 6150. I wanted a middle-of-the-road graphics card. (I have burnt up too many high-dollar GPU cards). I don’t do gaming. I bought a ASUS flat-screen 22-inch recently. I bought ASUS brand because I have been very happy with my hardware, running Linux. No issues with capabilities. In fact, I noticed the nVidia selected the optimum settings for my monitor. I didn’t have to do a thing. Consider SATA drives for speed of files.
