Does NQHR have many kids horses available?
Generaly NQHR does not take in kids ponies. We get phone calls almost weekly with people asking if we have any bombproof horses or ponies for their kids for free. 99% of the horses we take in are ex racehorses who are not suitable for kids. If you are looking for a quiet kids horse you may be looking in the wrong place. Most of NQHR horses are only suitable as companion horses or for experienced riders/handlers as they horses have been severly mistreated in the past. Horses as sold/adopted “as is, where is” with no gaurentees what so ever.
