Does not having a Super Bowl ring weigh on that decision?
I still want one. I have Marshall Faulk and Warren Sapp and all those guys hitting me up all the time. I actually saw Marshall quite a bit this off-season. Those guys have the rings so when I say to them, ‘Hey Marshall, how is it to retire?’ ‘Great.’ Yeah you have a ring; it is a lot easier to leave that way. It is definitely something I want. Hopefully something we can get here, and that is why I am here. What would it mean to get the Giants’ all-time sack record? That would be great. I looked at that and trust me I looked hard at it. I said, ‘If I had the sack record, is that worth it? No.’ It is not all about records and stuff like that, it is about really wanting to play this game and really feeling like you can contribute and have your heart into it. I have told plenty of people, ‘You know, I tied it, that is good enough.’ That doesn’t really affect my decision one way or the other.
