Does Nizoral™ Shampoo cause hair loss?
The Patient Leaflet states: ‘Dandruff and seborrhoic dermatitis can cause some hair loss which has been reported with Nizoral™ (Dandruff) Shampoo.There should have been reports of hair loss with Nizoral ™ Shampoo. However, it should be noted that the dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis itself can cause hair loss. We have no evidence that Nizoral ™ Shampoo is directly associated with hair loss. If you have any concerns about hair loss, you should discuss this with your doctor or pharmacist.
