Niche kitchen & bath products are only available through fine design showrooms throughout the U.S. Please call for locations. Who crafts Niche’s products? Our products are crafted by artisan family “talleres” throughout Mexico. We only work with one “taller”, thus ensuring quality & consistency, as well as, quick lead-times for special orders. What is a “Patina”? The “patina” of an item is the “color” it shows. We offer several finishes (polished, lavado & natural) and three patinas (Negro, Obscuro & Claro). Can I damage the patina? Although the patina can be damaged (highly acidic cleaners & abrasive cleaners, notably), a damaged area will repatina leaving little to no sign of the damage…this is referred to as the “living finish”. Is copper suitable for the rigors of daily cleaning and prep duties? Copper is quickly becoming the desired element for kitchen products due both to its uncompromising beauty & user-ability.
