Does NextStep contact my current employer when I am being considered for an opportunity?
At NextStep we maintain each record with “utmost confidentiality” to ensure that the candidate is never embarrassed or experiences difficulty with his/her employer through a breach of trust. However, at NextStep we conduct thorough reference checks on past records/ performances through two references provided by the candidate. Once the candidate is successful in getting the job, then it is mandatory to receive the contact details of the current employer so that a reference check can be conducted with the knowledge of the candidate.
