Does newlook employ teenagers?

No just like most high street stores they don’t employ teenagers until they have legally left compulsary eduction at 16. You will find it extremely hard to find anyone that will employ a 14 year old other then for babysitting or paper rounds!

Most High Street stores tend to employ people that can work a good number of hours a day which means you normally have to be 16 and have finished your GCSEs to get a job. However, saying that the law says that you can work from 13 BUT you need your parents consent as well as your schools and a permit from your local council. Even then you have big restriction on the hours you can work and this creates problems for high street stores (as at 14 you can only work 5 hours on a Saturday and 2 on a Sunday). There is no harm in asking at your local store (try to speak to the manager) about the possibility of working for them but is is very unlikely they would take you on until you are older.
