No. Network for Good does not approve or independently investigate any of the charities listed on the Web site. Nonprofit listings featured on Network for Good originate from the GuideStar database that contains records on more than 1 million organizations classified as 501(c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). GuideStar verifies that each organization is qualified under IRS rules to receive tax-deductible contributions, and updates its data monthly to ensure its listings are accurate. Network for Good only distributes contributions to charities in “good standing” with the IRS. When you make a donation through Network for Good, you know that your donation is tax-deductible and that your charity of choice is a legitimate charity.
