Does NetStep support K56Flex, X2, or V.90 technologies?

0

The K56Flex versus X2 battle may be subsiding, but the V.90 saga is just beginning. V.90 is the new official ITU international standard for “56K” analog modems. Previously there were two competing proprietary ‘defacto’ standards — K56Flex (from Rockwell) and X2 from 3COM/USR). NetStep supports K56Flex and V.90 for speeds up to 53k, and X2 speeds up to 33.6k. Remember if you upgraded your X2 modem to V.90 then it is no longer X2, it is now V.90 standard. Check out your modem manufacturer’s web site for more details.
