Does NESTLÉ NESVITA® pro-Bones cover the calcium requirements of elderly women?
The recommended calcium intake for women aged 51 to 70 years is 1,200 mg per day.* Compared to women aged 19 to 50, this level is clearly higher, because of the increasing need for calcium to maintain healthy bones as one grows older, as well as the hormonal changes that occur in this age group.
