Does Neo-Tec Ionizer have a fan?
No. The Neo Tec Neo-Tec Ionizer uses an “ionic breeze” to emit the negative ions and ozone beyond the machine. The negative ions and ozone then travel by way of the room’s existing air currents in order to purify the entire room or open area (up to 500 sq. ft.). The reactivity and electrical charge of ozone and negative ions also allow them to move throughout the air even if air currents are not present, although virtually all rooms have at least very subtle air currents. These two methods allow the negative ions and ozone to travel very easily within a room or open space, since there will be very few obstructions. Even for air purifiers that use fans, it is difficult for ozone (and virtually impossible for negative ions) to travel outside of a room or open space, due to constrictions caused by walls, doors, etc. Not having a fan also increases the reliability of the unit, since a fan requires moving parts and a motor, which increases the chances that repair will be required at some po
