Does NCSBN use generic and trade names on items with medications?

0

As noted in the sample item shown at the conclusion of the Pharmacological and Parenteral Therapies section of both the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN detailed test plans, NCLEX uses the generic name in the item with the trade name in parentheses. However, some items may contain only general classifications of medications and therefore would not provide the generic and trade names.
