Does NCR REA participate in law suits?
While having significant interest in retirement and health care benefits issues that involve many U.S. companies and their retirees, the Board of Trustees does not believe it has the legal expertise nor the financial resources to retain a law firm. By Federal law, benefits are controlled by employers and the Trustees do not believe it should commit its limited resources as a legal advocacy group, but instead should concentrate on the objectives in its Mission Statement. However, NCR Retiree News does report on law suits involving NCR and other company retiree groups as the legal matters are learned.
