Does NAVY-USMC ROTC detract from academics?
Make no mistake–we consider academics to be your primary concern while at NCSU. Outside activities are encouraged but not at the expense of academic goals. This has resulted in a Battalion grade point average above 3.0 in each of the previous 6 years. Approximately half of the Battalion also makes the NCSU Dean s List, and each semester a few midshipmen earn 4.0 GPA’s in degree programs.
