Does Naomi Campbell get 200 hours for air rage now?
According to an Associated Press article, in addition to 200 hours of community service: She was also ordered to pay 200 pounds ($400) to each of the police officers she attacked and 150 pounds ($300) to Miles Sutherland, the captain of the British Airways plane she disrupted, in addition to a 2,300 pound ($4,600) fine. Campbell now says her rage was caused by an insult from a British Airways employee. She says this person called her a “gollywog supermodel.” In April, while in a plane waiting to take off, Campbell and other passengers were notified that their bags had not made the flight. Campbell reacted by ordering personnel to find her bag. When they would not, she became verbally and physically abusive and had to be removed from the plane by police. Campbell pleaded guilty and was told her mild sentence was partly due to that. Sources: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080620/ap_en_ce/people_naom
