Nansulate® is not a vapor barrier or sealer. It is breathable (5 perms/inch @ 23 deg C). Q: Is there something in Nansulate® that makes it resistant to mold. A: Nansulate® is naturally hydrophobic, allowing it to provide excellent corrosion prevention, mold resistance and is also highly moisture resistant. Because of this, it is resistant to mold growth without use of any modicides.
