Does Mybusiness Run While Connected To The Internet?
You do not need to connect to the Internet when using the MyBusiness package. My Business is a Browser based product, which uses Internet Explorer as a front end. This means that if you choose, you can access the internet from within the MyBusiness software (e.g. to e-mail a contact). Any alerts to connect to the internet is simply MyBusiness connecting to the server MyBiz creates on your PC and not to the internet. To prevent this from happening Go to Internet Explorer and choose Tools, Connections and Select. Click on the ‘Dial whenever a connection is not present’ option and press ok.
