The RoadMentor only operates when it is connected to an external power source, such as the cigarette lighter receptacle in your vehicle. The RoadMentor does not require any batteries, and Polstar does not manufacture a remote battery pack. Please note that any unauthorized modifications or services performed on your RoadMentor will void your warranty.
