Does my pet need anything besides annual vaccinations if its healthy?
All pets benefit from a thorough physical exam, regardless of health. Many illnesses are very subtle in the early stages, and a physical exam by a veterinarian may reveal an illness that is not yet causing major problems. As in people, diseases are usually easier to treat and cure in the early stages than later.
