YES! Every gift, no matter the size, is important to our overall effort. We welcome and value gifts of ANY amount and designation. Even $50, $25 or $10 is a valuable investment in the mission of Augustana College. In Fiscal Year 2007-08 more than $249,360 was given to the college by generous donors who made gifts of under $100. Together, they made a big impact on the college. Your gift counts in other ways, too. Foundations and trusts take into consideration the overall number of donors to a school–especially alumni donors–when determining fiscal viability and institutional strength for major grant approval and higher education rankings for the college. Strong alumni participation indicates satisfaction with academic programs and improves Augustana’s national rankings, thereby strengthening the power of each alumni diploma.
