Does my insurance cover routine foot care – nail and callus trimming?
Most insurances do not cover the routine cutting and trimming of nails and callus unless you meet specific criteria in relation to risk factors associated with conditions such as diabetes and peripheral vascular disease. We do provide routine foot care services to patients as an out-of-pocket expense.
