Does my email account include anti spam and anti virus?
Email anti spam is included in the Unwired mailbox issued to every customer. Anti virus is pre-activated for all mailboxes. However anti spam is turned off by default and can be turned on via the preferences section of the Unwired mailbox, when accessed via the Unwired website. We recommend that you purchase anti virus software for your email if you are using a mailbox provided by someone other than Unwired.
Cirrus protects its own servers with antivirus applications and there is an anti-virus and anti-SPAM filter operating in our firewalls HOWEVER Cirrus cannot guarantee that any network is protected from virii, Trojans or other malware. Cirrus STRONGLY recommends that you invest in appropriate anti-virus, anti-malware and anti-SPAM solutions as appropriate for your needs. Cirrus does not currently offer any services in this space but may do so in the future. All existing Cirrus customers will be informed of any changes to this policy.
