Does more racism exist in the Southern, Western, or Northern United States?

Statistically, there is more in the south, because there was slavery, but sadly, there is some racism everywhere.

Having lived in several places in the U.S., I have seen extreme racism in the Northeast and the West (my native area). In the South, I have seen that some folks are a bit ignorant about people who are different than they are. I wouldn’t necessarily call that racist. Only in the Northeast was I approached by a member of the KKK to let go of the hand of my (then) wife (ethnically Chinese).
